Here is a selection of indoor activities available in the Vail Valley. Each activity listed is accessible to people of all abilities. Avon Recreation Center The Avon Recreation Center is a fully accessible facility. The Riverwalk Theater The Riverwalk Theater has accessible seating options (there are removed seating sections). Note: Only cash is accepted, no checks or credit cards. The Capitol Theater The Capitol Theater also has accessible seating options (there are removed seating sections). Note: Only cash is accepted, no checks or credit cards. The Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum National Disabled Ski Hall of Fame The Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum hosts the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame as well as the National Disabled Ski Hall of Fame. The Ski & Snowboard Museum houses incredible skiing and snowboard heritage and history. The Museum is opened Tuesday-Sundays from 10:00A.M - 8:00P.M. The Eagle County Historical Society Museum The museum is located near the entrance of town, just off of the I70 exit behind the Back Bowl bowling alley. Display tables include animal hides, animal jaw bones and a variety of items you can touch. This a good display for visually impaired visitors. The Gypsum Recreation Center This is the Vail Valley's newest recreation facility. Complete with a barrier-free climbing area, and gymnatics center, accessible steam room and easy access pool area and soon to come, food service. This facility was designed with access to facilities in mind and they are still in the process of making improvements. The Vail Athletic Club at the Vail Mountain Lodge The Vail Athletic Club offers an indoor climbing wall, a full fitness facility and a spa.
