From rental car companies, accessible buses, and airport shuttles, and Colorado travel books, this section provides up to date information regarding local adaptive services to accommodate visitors with disabilities.

Accessible Buses
Town of Vail Transit: (970) 479-2178
Eagle County Regional Transportation Authority: (970) 328-3520

The Town of Vail Transit Department provides free year-round bus service throughout Vail. Additionally, regional bus service, with modest fares, is provided daily by the Eagle County Regional Transportation Authority (ECO) with service to Vail, Leadville, Minturn, Eagle-Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek, Edwards, Eagle, Gypsum and Dotsero.

All buses are accessible and, due to winter snow conditions, if the wheelchair lift does not work, another bus should be running shortly. If you need bus for a large group, please contact the transportation center directly.
