Vail Village is the center of the Vail Valley scene, both night and day, winter and summer. The main Vista Bahn quad chair departs from the village, and within a radius of a few blocks you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and hotels. Accommodations in this area tend toward the upscale end.

Since many of the streets in Vail Village are pedestrian-only, the best way to access the Village is either to take the free, lift-equipped, Town of Vail shuttles, or visitors can park in the main parking structure just east of the main Vail round-a-bout.  Short term, two-hour parking is also available in front of Check-Point Charlie and Buzz's board shop.
