In January of 2001, Mylissa Eckdahl was involved in a car accident which resulted in her suffering total paralysis from the shoulders down.

Living with a disability is not only challenging, but expensive. Mylissa's independent living needs are extensive and many of her ongoing necessities are not covered by insurance.

To help defer these costs, Peter Kater, the five-time Grammy nominated pianist, will offer a special benefit concert for Mylissa, on April 23, 7:30 pm, at the Vilar Center for the Performing Arts in Beaver Creek.
